Referrals

In addition to treating our existing client base, we welcome referral cases from other practices. For professional reasons, and in the best interests of your horse, pony or donkey we are only able to accept your horse if it has been referred by your veterinary surgeon. Once you have agreed with your vet that you wish to attend The Equine Vet Clinic as a referral, the referring vet will contact the practice to make arrangements for us to contact you and make an appointment.

We would like to highlight that a second opinion is different from a referral. Where a second opinion is sought by someone, we will always approach the first treating vet within the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeon guidelines.
